Tuesday 30th April is the final session .
It will return in October 2024 due to the success.
Dear Sir/Madam
Last summer we introduced our proposals to reinforce the electricity transmission network between a new substation to the north of Hull, near Creyke Beck, and a new substation at High Marnham in Nottinghamshire.
Our first stage of public consultation ran for eight weeks, from 1 June to 27 July 2023. We would once again like to thank everyone who took the time to attend our public consultation events and provide feedback.
Attached to this email please find our Community update newsletter, which we have posted to just under 12,000 properties located within 1km of the emerging preferred corridor. The newsletter will also be available on our website in due course, in the “News” section.
If you have any questions, please contact us at contact@nh-hm.nationalgrid.com or call our community relations line at 0800 051 4430.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely,
Rachel Tullis
My name is Erik Gregg. I am presently writing a book about the Lincolnshire Home Guard and I am acutely aware that the Isle of Axholme always sadly seems to get a bit lost when people discuss the whole county.
Do you know of anything to do with the unit or the Home Guard generally in Eastoft?
All I seem to know at present is the unit covering the Isle of Axholme which was the 3rd Lindsey Battalion under Colonel Reynolds.
Can you help and point me in the direction of anyone who knew more.
