Safer Neighbourhoods Partnership

Who are we?

The North Lincolnshire Safer Neighbourhoods Partnership (NLSNP) is a partnership between the emergency services, councils and public, private and voluntary sector agencies working together to reduce crime, disorder and substance misuse.

What do we do?

The partnership works on a number of different levels to improve community safety in the area. From an executive boardroom to a resident’s living room, Safer Neighbourhoods activity takes many different forms. Examples of the partnership’s work include:

  • Meeting together to look at changing trends in crime and drug use
  • Sharing information and ideas about crime and drugs
  • Trying to improve how existing services are delivered
  • Commissioning drug and alcohol treatment services and crime reduction measures
  • Encouraging young people to take up useful leisure activities
  • Working together with residents and voluntary groups on specific neighbourhood problems
