Judges Visiting Eastoft

This year, Eastoft Gardening club have entered their public areas into the East Midlands Britain in Bloom Competition.
The purpose is to gain experience from the experts as to how we can improve our efforts. The areas they will judge us on are

A successful day at open farm Sunday has allowed us to buy more plants, we are, weather permitting, putting them in this Saturday, so if you see a gang loitering around the cenotaph at 09:00 its us, if you want to help please feel free.

The judges are here on Thursday 6th July at 16:00 hrs so on

Wednesday 5th we are all meeting at the Village Hall at 6:00pm

To have a litter picking session, coffee afterwards, once again everyone is most welcome to come along and help out.

We dont want you to think that we are snooping or commenting on residents gardens. We are simply having a general tidy up so it’s only fair that we let you know what is happening.

Set within the rural hamlet of Broomfleet on the banks of the River Humber in the East Riding of Yorkshire, Lavender Blue is the creation of Gill Tomkinson, who has over 38 years experience of growing Cut Flowers . Lavender Blue was created by Gill in 2007. It is a small business set within a cottage garden .

Gill is very proud of her nurse, where she grows and sells over 36 varieties of English Lavender Plants and 52 varieties of Dianthus
