ABP will be carrying out essential safety maintenance on South Dock Road Bridge in Goole.

ABP in Goole owns and operates various road bridges in the town, and the South Dock Bridge on Bridge Street (A161) is due for essential maintenance to ensure it remains safe for public use. In order to carry out this work the company will need to close the bridge for a temporary period to ensure the work can be carried out safely.
To minimise disruption, work will take place over two weekends on

6am Saturday 23rd September to 5am Monday 25th September
and
6am Saturday 30th September to 5am Monday 2nd October. 

There will be a 30 mile diversion in place for vehicles. Pedestrians will have alternative access via South Street across the port onto Aire Street.
