Hi everyone, We have an urgent request for your help.

As you may know (or not) we have applied for some more grant funding to replace the rest of your playground facilities. We need you to support this by posting messages of support to this request.

It doesn’t need to be a tome just a simple (for example) ‘We really excited that the rest of the old playground equipment is going to be replaced if we can get the grant money because it really needs it.’ ; anything else will also be acceptable in support of course. You don’t have to be a parent but can support the application if you will.

Please reply here as soon as you can and pass the message on if you will. If you know someone that supports but is not on Facebook please tell them and say they can drop a note into the village hall post box and they will be scanned in.

Without this support from the village, the request for the grant will fail.

The Playground is now OPEN.
Fill your boots but please take your fish and chip papers home with you.
The bin is only small and gets full very quickly.

Sweet papers and the like is all it is designed for (and paid for).

We have the money for the playground update !!!

We are in the process of transferring the deposit to Kompan and they are seeking a pre-start site visit.

The work should take about 10 days I have been told and we are possibly looking at a May start.

With grateful thanks to Cllr Julie Read and Sarah at Brigg in the office all who led us through the twisty bits of form Filling….

Also to NLC/SSE for funding and North Lincs council for making up the rest.

We could not have done this with them.I will keep you informed as we go.
